About the film
The camera follows one character until they cross paths with another, then switches to the new person, and so on, through a single day. Businessmen, old women, children, criminals and dreamers all pass the story along.
As the day goes on, the chain reaches back into the past, into memories of the war and earlier centuries, and the city becomes a mosaic of lives.
A playful, poetic experiment from Karen Shakhnazarov, very different from anything else on this site.
